Rangiora High School Nursery School is a Charitable Trust, not-for-profit, community-based Ministry of Education registered Early Childhood Education Centre that provides quality education for 2 and a half to 5 year old children.

Located at 4 Wales Street and providing ECE 20 hours free for children aged 2 and a half years up to 5 years, children attend daily from 8.30am - 3.30pm, with closure at Christmas time and statutory holidays/Teacher Only Days.  All teachers are qualified, registered, caring and very experienced!

Proud of its heritage in being one of New Zealand's oldest early childhood centres innovatively established in 1938, we value the collaborative partnerships we form with whanau and the inclusiveness that involving extended family and the wider community (including reciprocal visits with Rangiora High School) brings to strengthening Nursery School and enhancing the education of all akonga.  The commitment shown by families, many by having their 2nd, 3rd or 4th generation children attending, is exceptional and important to us and indicative of how well-valued our service provision is by the community we serve.

Strong features of our centre are the well planned and resourced, and extensively-spacious play areas (both indoors and outdoors) that support and promote children's exploration and learning; the active parental involvement; and the qualified, experienced and stable (low turn-over) staff of teachers. 

We encourage visits with no obligation to committing to enrolling; as we advocate that the pre-school centre choice parents make for their child has to be one they feel comfortable with and suits them.
